Daniel Spink

 

I began playing the guitar at the age of 7, initially studying classical playing, later moving onto Rock & Pop techniques. I dedicated several years studying and improving my knowledge on the immense world of music theory.

From my early teens to today I have been building lots of experience performing with a wide range of bands, everything from Rock to Funk, Pop, Heavy Metal, Acoustic, Soul, Grunge and Hip-Hop.

 

I graduated from the Academy of Music and Sound in 2009 at the top of my class, where I was introduced to the guitar teaching world, having been chosen from my class of guitarists to teach prospective music students for the next year.

 

I'm a passionate and relaxed teacher, and can help you develop your guitar skills at the rate you are comfortable with. I'm keen to open up what it is you love about music and use that to help you learn this inspiring instrument.

I have been teaching guitar with Music Workshop Bath since the start of 2014 and I have been the guitar teacher at the new 'Bath Studio School' & 'Aspire Academy' schools in Bath, since they both opened in September 2014.

 

I have been registered with RGT, the registry of professional guitar tutors since 2012, which means not only am I a qualified and accredited tutor, I can help you get in for exams for the internationally recognised Guitar Grades, and provide you with all the information and confidence you need to pass.

I am fully DBS (CRB) checked as of summer 2014.
